Certified Tutor

Being a tutor for the past 4 years has made me realize: it makes me happy to see a student succeed. Seeing the amount of opportunities that learning a language gives has opened my eyes to a lot of things in life. Therefore, I want to devote my life to teaching a language. However, I have to start with tutoring. I really enjoy helping to motivate students in learning a language because of the understanding there is between cultures. If I hadn't met my best friend from Germany, I don't think I would be where I am now. Some people believe there has to be a "reason" to learn a language. But that reason is a better understanding of the world and better communication skills, which we all need in life. I want to help students succeed in this aspect, this way they are able to understand the world in their own way, as well as how to communicate differently. This can in turn open doors to new opportunities in the future!

In my free time, I enjoy learning languages, hiking, filming and taking photos, and technology. I also love to travel and have been to numerous European countries.
