Certified Tutor

I am receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Education at PLU. This is my first year in the Elementary Education Department at PLU. I have worked with elementary age students for over a year from kindergarten to fifth grade in an after-school program. I have also led a Math Club and volunteered at many elementary schools. I am currently in a second-grade classroom for the Education program. There I am working with students one-on-one and in small groups on all subject matters and I am occasionally teaching lessons. I am most passionate about math, science, reading, and writing. I have knowledge in different learning styles and teaching techniques. I believe that every one of my students can and will succeed. I enjoy learning about my students interests and applying those interests to different subject matters. In my spare time I enjoy renovating my house, doing DIY projects, reading, and listening to music.
