I attended Clark University, receiving a B.A. in Spanish and International Development in 2009. I continued my studies, completing an M.A. in International Development in 2011. I spent my Junior year in Spain (Madrid and Seville) and have traveled to Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain and Panama in the past year. I am most skilled at tutoring students in Spanish, reading comprehension and vocabulary building.
I have taught students of all ages through roles as an environmental educator and backpacking instructor in Worcester, MA and Lake Tahoe, NV. The most successful approach to learning is one that's hands-on and personal. Through activities, discussions and scenarios, we'll easily accelerate your learning pace, and ensure success towards your learning goals.
Outside of academia, I enjoy backpacking in New Hampshire, seeing movies at the Davis Square Theater, going to concerts at Great Scott in Allston, and camping out on the lawn in front of the Cambridge Public Library - enjoying a good book and swinging in my hammock.
