One on one teaching is an opportunity to get to know an individual in a unique situation, assess their needs and work together to grow and learn. Being a part of this journey can be a truly fulfilling experience in a deeply personal way.

I got my undergrad degree at Appalachian State University. I am currently working on a second undergrad degree from University of North Carolina Asheville. I am studying Spanish with plans to become a translator. I primarily tutor English as I have the most experience and skill in this subject.

My teaching philosophy is to approach learning in a specialized way for each individual student. This means a combination of games, puzzles, activities and lessons to keep things varied, interesting, and fun.
