Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where I received my Masters in Education in Science and Literacy. I have also received Bachelor degrees from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN in the area of Sport Management and also from Columbia College in Columbia, MO in the area of Biology. Since graduation, I have continued my education by receiving special education licensure in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioral Disorders. I am currently in the process of finishing my administrative licensure as well as my Autism Spectrum Disorders Licensure. I have been in education for 10 years and have worked with students at all age levels teaching both science and special education. What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing that light bulb go on when a student has grasped a concept they have been struggling with. While I am relatively new to tutoring, one part of being a teacher I enjoy the most is working one-on-one with students and helping them to improve. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, gardening, spending time with my family and watching all different kinds of sports.
