Certified Tutor

I am a recently retired College Lecturer. I taught undergraduate level Statistics and Mathematics for 30 plus years. I received my MA in Statistics from Mississippi State University. I did my B.Sc. also in Statistics, with Math and Physics as minors.
During my teaching career, I taught some developmental and intermediate math courses. The experience I gained from teaching those courses helped me to teach statistics effectively to a diverse group of students with different levels of math background, from enough math to little math knowledge. I take an approach to help students understand the concept and method of solving the problem, not to memorize. I believe I helped many students to achieve their academic goals during my teaching career and hope to do the same by tutoring.
In my free time, I usually enjoy reading or visit national parks.
