Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Middlebury College where I majored in Sociology. I have a great deal of experience with teaching and tutoring, and I absolutely love working with students. I love helping students enjoy the process of learning and studying, because that is a skill and a disposition that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
I spent a year with AmeriCorps tutoring at a middle school in all core subjects as well as ESL courses, and I have also worked at a number of alternative education programs where I served as both an assistant and lead teacher. My greatest skill is writing and I would be happy to help students learn how to clearly and concisely organize a paper. I'm able to tutor in Algebra, Geometry, SAT, and AP Art History as well.
Lastly, I love studying and creating art and taking care of my cats, and I'm currently working at the Rubin Museum as an Apprentice Museum Educator.
