Certified Tutor

I am a graduate student at the UNC School of Public Health and I have many years of diverse tutoring and teaching experiences. Some of my favorite jobs included teaching elementary school students science on an educational farm and my positions as an ESL instructor in Chile and for migrant farmers in Ohio. I studied Neuroscience and History in undergrad and enjoyed my job as a lab assistant for General Chemistry.

I always ask my students what their individual learning needs and goals are so I can plan lessons accordingly. I believe that every learner absorbs knowledge differently and I strive to be a dynamic and interactive tutor that uses unique tools and methods to fit the student's needs.

When I have free time I try to spend as much time outside as possible being active. I love to bike, hike and garden and then cooking a big delicious meal after.
