Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelors of Arts from the University of Minnesota Morris in May of 2017 where I double majored in Biochemistry and Biology. My experience in tutoring has mostly been at the collegiate level in Mathematics and the Sciences. My favorite subjects to tutor are the sciences at any age level because of how what we learn in these subjects connects with current world issues. My passion for helping students stems from my belief that everyone should understand how powerful a tool education can be. My teaching philosophy includes an emphasis on understanding the importance of education, how to utilize a variety of resources, and promoting active learning with open communication between the tutor and student. In my spare time, I enjoy getting outside and staying active by playing soccer and running.
