Over my many years of learning and teaching individuals from every age group, I have found that I have learned as much as I have been able to give in return. After spending many years teaching ESL classes in Latin America, the pleasure I have found from watching individuals grow and learn has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Being a self-motivated and tactful educator I feel that these personal qualities have given me the ability to be an effective practitioner. I have always strived to show empathy and honesty when working in partnership with parents to achieve the goals expected of both the student and myself. I feel that I am also creative and enthusiastic which have always been of benefit when working with students of every age. I am also patient and work to communicate well with students. When teaching I always take note of individual feedback from students and parents.
Throughout my life, I have been able to advance my personal education and continue to do so. This has extended my practical knowledge which has only enhanced my abilities to interact with students and pass along information that helps them to achieve higher goals. My professional career has been a blessing for students, since it has allowed me to focus on positive reinforcement techniques that help to build upon areas of opportunity, which in turn has helped many individuals and myself to become better performers.
