I am a senior at the George Washington University currently finishing up my degree in Biology with a minor in Biological Anthropology, with plans to eventually matriculate to medical school after graduation. I have experience working as a TA for an introductory level Biology course, where I helped fellow undergraduate students to succeed through lecturing and hands-on problem solving. Additionally, I have built up a wide range of research experience in fields like Gastroenterology and Microbiology, which are topics of personal interest to me.

I believe understanding the everyday effects and applications of complex scientific concepts can help students better engage with material they struggle with. I work with students individually to explain difficult scientific topics and relate them back to everyday life, so that they can gain the greatest possible understanding and appreciation of the topic.
