I first started tutoring when I was in high school. My friends would come to me for help with our classes and for help with writing their essays. I always appreciated this, and I was happy to be able to help my friends with their work and to get them to where they needed to be with the material. This has continued to be my role, even in college. I love being a continued system of support for my friends and classmates in understanding their material. I truly enjoy helping others with their work and will do my very best to help you with your classes.
I am currently a student at Franklin and Marshall College out in Lancaster, PA. As of now I have finished a very successful freshman year and am leaning towards majoring in both economics and German. I am able to do this because of the amount of AP credit that I came into school with. This is one of the reasons why I am an avid proponent of AP classes, as it affords chances to expand interests in college. On campus, I am avidly involved in our campus radio station, WFNM, hosting a weekly show with one of my best friends where we debate the news and play both classic rock and country music. I am also a brother of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, Pennsylvania Eta chapter. On top of all this, I enjoy being in the great outdoors spending much of my free time outside doing things like fishing, hiking, and kayaking.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I would try and come up with a different way of presenting the concept. Oftentimes I have found that difficulty with a skill stems from the way it is presented. If you can present a different way of learning to the student it often becomes easier for them to grasp it.
