Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Vassar College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in English. After graduating, I worked at Weill Cornell Medical College and took graduate medical coursework at New York Medical College. I will be matriculating into medical school this fall.

Throughout my undergraduate career I was actively involved in scientific research and in tutoring students in both science and English coursework. My experience in tutoring students in English over the past 6 years includes age groups ranging from grades K-12. English topics cover essay writing, college admissions, as well as grammar mechanics.

I am most experienced in teaching SSAT, SAT, and similar entrance/exit exams for students entering high school or preparing to enter college. Preparing for standardized tests can represent a stressful and frustrating time for many students. I work closely with each student to make the most of their time and bring out their very best.

I am enthusiastic about learning and hope to instill the same appreciation in each student I teach. In my free time I like to read, run, and play competitive tennis.
