I am a graduate student at the University of Arizona working toward a master's degree in systems engineering. I received a B.S. in physics with a concentration in computational physics and a B.S. in physics with a concentration in astronomy from Eastern Illinois University. My coursework was geared toward solving physical problems using mathematical modeling. During my undergraduate education, I was employed as a physics tutor, assisting students with physics and mathematics coursework, where I honed skills in conveying information effectively to students at all levels. I also served as a teaching assistant, providing instruction in the use of telescopes and related lab equipment. I also have experience in the instruction of student musical ensembles, and can maintain a professional and productive learning environment.
