I strive to help students of all ages better learn the material and use specific learning techniques that best fit the learning styles of every student I tutor. I am a passionate and energetic graduate student with extensive background in life sciences and have years of teaching experience. I am a great communicator that is also patient and creative. I feel these skills enable me to work with students and effectively improve their knowledge and understanding of the material they may struggle with. I received my B.S. from Emory University in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology along with teaching experience in biology and human health. I feel my energy along with background in life sciences and teaching can offer any student seeking help the best possible assistance with their course material. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, football and soccer, as well as music.

Outline the material, and also set up goals for the student and myself to achieve.

By sharing techniques that they can implement on their own and later on in life.

By staying energetic and keeping them involved in the learning process.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Try teaching it another way as well as using a video or visual to explain it; using modern real life examples to explain complex biology always seems to help.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
I suggest reading over it multiple times and trying to take out information each time.

To be energetic, passionate, knowledgeable, and relatable.
