Certified Tutor

I graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. During my undergraduate career, I worked with students as a Teaching Assistant in the introductory organic chemistry lab and mentored students in an organic chemistry research lab. After graduation, I moved to China to work as an educational consultant, advising students with college applications while focusing on improving their application essays. Additionally, I tutored students on IELTS and TOEFL preparation and general English, using subjects such as science and history to improve their speaking and writing skills.
I love teaching writing, as this is one of the best ways to help students learn about themselves and their interests, but I also enjoy teaching life sciences and math. In my free time, I enjoy painting, yoga, and experimenting with new recipes.
