Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from UW- Eau Claire with a degree in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology and a minor in Economics. At UW-Eau Claire, I worked as a tutor for two years. I tutored various courses in the fields of Chemistry, Biology, and Economics. I found it very rewarding to help these students reach their academic goals and wish to continue in this tradition. My teaching philosophy is to help students establish the foundation and the confidence necessary to become self sufficient as students. Since graduating from UWEC, I have moved to the Minneapolis area and am enjoying myself out here so far. I have aspirations of going to medical school and hope to start in the fall of 2016.

In my free time I enjoy training for strongman and Olympic weightlifting competitions. My next competition is a Strongman competition held in Minneapolis in late September. Last year in this competition I placed 4th overall, taking first place in both the keg toss and the atlas stone events. I hope to do even better this year. Wish me luck!
