I'm ready to help you work toward your learning goals.

When you work with me, you'll be taking advantage of my fourteen years of experience as an educator, including over six years as a tutor. And you'll be working with a certified teacher who has professional experience with students of all ages, as well as diverse ethnic, cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds - from elementary school children in underserved communities to international professionals and their families.

My education and outside professional experience will also benefit your learning progress.

In 2007, I earned my Multiple Subjects (K-8) Certification from California State University, Monterey Bay, a university that stressed outcome-based education. More recently, I worked as an adult educator for Southwest Solutions' Early Childhood and Family Literacy Center; in that position, I helped adults learn how to learn and how to help their children progress academically.

Additionally, I have significant professional experience as a writer and editor. So I can not only help you improve your grades on written assignments, I can help you gain proficiency at nearly any sort of writing.
