Certified Tutor

I have a BA in History and Political Science with a minor in Spanish from Lewis-Clark State College as well as my Secondary Education Certification. In 2013, I completed my Master's in United States History from American Public University. I graduated with honors from all levels of education.

I have been a teacher for 11 years and have taught Native American History and Spanish from Exploratory to AP levels. I am certified by the College Board to teach both AP Spanish and US History. Additionally, I work with a local college to offer two levels of Spanish and my Native American History course for concurrent credit.

In my free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction, watching and playing sports, and spending time with my 11 year-old son.
There is no such thing as "dumb". Everyone has the potential to learn. Finding the method that ignites that potential is my job.
