Certified Tutor

I went to Ithaca College where I earned by Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Syracuse University where I earned a Masters in Secondary English Education 7-12. I also taught three years of Developmental Composition at College of Southern Idaho as an adjunct professor.

I am a lover of great literature and quality writing. Have taught 12 + years college middle and high school. I am a published writer and was a rock journalist for six years in Marin county interviewed internationally-acclaimed talent such as John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers and spending time with James Hetfield of Metallica.

My favorite subject to tutor is writing as I enjoy watching my students progress throughout a school year.

I look forward to working with each of you to help grow your talents and skill sets as writers.

In my free time I enjoy biking, hiking the mountains and swimming in the lakes surrounding lovely Bend, Oregon. I believe in people and want to do my very best to help them shine in every aspect of their lives.
