Certified Tutor

Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Leadership Studies (Business) at Our Lady of the Lake University-Houston; I have completed 30 hours of extensive coursework, involving Leadership, Management, Research, Policies/Procedures, Ethics and Presentation Skills. In addition, I hold a Master’s of Arts degree in English, and I have over five years of academic teaching experience. I have taught courses; such as, Career Development, Composition, Research Methods, Literature, and Fundamentals of Writing just to name a few. Moreover, as an Instructor I am constantly overseeing complex and challenging efforts of students; therefore, I am capable of managing students and projects efficiently and effectively. As a Graduate Assistant at Arkansas State University, I had the opportunity to teach and tutor; I found that mutually these methods of instruction have a far greater impact upon students' learning outcomes. This technique is more one-on-one communication, in which students exhibit motivation and confidence in their educational process because of individualized attention. I am extremely excited about the opportunity to motivate and assist students with their educational needs and goals; therefore,I am committed to student achievement and success.
