I love education, English, and helping others. I majored in English and double minored in Women's Studies and African American Studies during my undergraduate career. I understand how difficult it can be to have to write about subjects you may not be interested or well-versed in. The key to successful writing is curiosity and editing!

I tutored English writing at my alma mater, Penn State; my experience there sparked an interest to continue working as an educator. I've tutored high school and middle school students. I've enjoyed every part of it and love when I see my students finally "get it."

My goal as your tutor isn't to make you "like" writing. Instead, I'm dedicated to helping you figure out your learning style, and how you can most effectively write those lovely, or pesky, essays.

I am also great at helping in the areas of reading comprehension, grammar, and literature. These all work together!
