I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with sixteen combined years of instructional and administrative experience. I have provided exemplary instructional and administrative educational services to colleagues, students, families, and community members in the metropolitan urban and suburban school district areas in Missouri. Throughout my professional career, I have worked in the following capacities as an English Teacher, Literacy Coach, Co-Chair English Department Head, Missouri Assessment Program Trainer, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Prior to my sixteen years of service, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English and years later I acquired a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration. Currently, I am pursuing a Specialist Degree with an emphasis in Education Administration at Lindenwood University. As a result of my passion for learning, it is my aspiration to apply for acceptance into the Lindenwood University's Doctoral Program for the upcoming Fall Semester. Moreover, because of my personal and professional educational experiences, I have been afforded the great opportunity to contribute to the academic success and endeavors of a myriad of students. Although I enjoy working with all students, I am most fulfilled in assisting those students that encounter academic challenges while enhancing their academic growth and development. This experience by far has been the most rewarding and celebrated highlight of my career. As a favored past time, I take pleasure in traveling abroad with family and friends. My most recent enjoyable journeys have included visiting London, Paris, and Rome.
