With a Masters in Mathematics Education and four years teaching at the high school level, I feel well prepared to address the needs of a wide variety of students. My method consists of asking students the right questions so that the students can figure out the problems themselves. I model the best ways of thinking so students learn how to ask themselves the right questions when I am no longer by their side. I seldom have students rely on "tricks"; instead, students will learn the underlying reasoning so that they can extend their solving methods to new related problem types. I look forward to applying my years of tutoring and teaching experience to help many motivated students.
