I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2012 with a dual-degree in Latin and Philosophy. I am currently an M.A. candidate in Philosophy at Georgia State University expected to graduate Spring 2013. I have experience tutoring Latin, Philosophy, and Math to both College and High School age students and am currently an instructor of Philosophy 1010 at Georgia State. I am able to tutor a wide range of subjects, but I would say that my favorites are Latin, Philosophy, Math and European History all of which I am passionate about. My tutoring style is to teach students to apply critical thinking skills to the subject at hand. By focusing on fundamentals and proper techniques, students will gain the experience needed to apply these skills to those problems which seem initially challenging. My intended profession is teaching, and I try to impress upon my students my passion for knowledge. I dont just teach to the test; I work to provide a firm foundation so that you can achieve whatever your goals are whether that is getting into an elite university, graduate school, or a competitive job market. When I am not teaching or working I enjoy karate, swimming, building models and playing video games.
