I am a former public school teacher and am passionate about helping children get past the "hump" they may be experiencing academically. I earned a degree in Psychology from UTSA, after which I completed additional coursework to earn my Teaching Certificate with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I am also an experienced tutor and love witnessing that "aha!" moment with children when they finally understand something they have struggled with. I love tutoring all subjects, but Phonics and Reading are definitely my favorites!
