Growing up with both parents as teachers at the secondary and higher education levels, I have had a passion for academia from a very young age. I was most certainly the student who loved attending class, and I brought this passion with me throughout all of my collegiate and legal career. While concurrently in law school, I became involved in higher education at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign where for two years I instructed my own classrooms of university students in courses on written and oral communication at a variety of skill levels.

In addition to law and oral and written communications, I am passionate about foreign languages and traveling to new and exotic places. A polyglot, I speak English, French, German and Turkish and am educated from the Universite de Bourgogne in French language and culture. I continue to expand my own foreign language education and am preparing for my DALF exam, the highest level of French proficiency certification available to non-native speakers.

I look forward to sharing my passions in the law, oral and written communication, and languages with my students to help them discovery their own potentials.
