During my time as an undergraduate and graduate student, I spent several years as a Physics teaching assistant. My experience at the universities has included both teaching Physics in group (classroom and lab) settings and working with students individually on homework problems or test preparation. For the past few years, I have also tutored students independently, primarily focusing on Algebra/Algebra 2, Physics, and Chemistry. Students have often said that I am a very clear, patient, and thorough tutor. I believe it's important to let students do as much of the work independently as possible so that they stay involved in the learning process, and I also find it valuable to relate previous knowledge to new material. But most of all, I just really enjoy the subjects I teach and love sharing them with others! Tutoring is very fulfilling for me, so I'm definitely looking forward to making connections with new students!
