I am a science enthusiast with a knack for helping students break down difficult content and master it by employing a variety of teaching strategies. I graduated in 2014 from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I am currently in the last semester of my Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy from The George Washington University. For the past three years I have worked as a high school science teacher, teaching 10th grade Chemistry, 9th grade Biology, and 12th grade Human Anatomy and Physiology. I have also done research for Rice University and The George Washington University Hospital. In my free time, I volunteer with The Junior League of Washington and am involved in Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the local alumnae group for my sorority, Phi Mu. I am currently applying to medical school for the 2018 school year. I reside in Arlington with my two cats and my fiance, a recent Georgetown Law graduate.
