...as a tutor is not to teach someone how to solve a problem or pass a test, but to teach the essential knowledge needed to succeed in a course beyond the raw grade. I believe that through a holistic assessment of a subject, it will be easier for someone to learn how to accomplish tasks related to that subject in the future.
