...I'm going into my third year of study. Math is more than just a subject in school to me. It is a way of thinking that helps people in their everyday lives. That concept is what drives me when I tutor. Formulas and equations have their use and value, but the critical thinking that can be gained from the study of math is much more important. I have had success in showing students from where...

Statics Tutoring FAQ
Statics is a mechanics branch that explains the analysis of loads that act on physical systems without acceleration. It teaches us about bodies, forces, and masses in equilibrium or at rest. If you are studying statics and find yourself needing additional help, look no further. 51勛圖厙 can assist you in finding a statics tutor who can meet your needs.
College statics tutoring helps with:
Vectors
Force
Equilibrium equations
Moment of inertia
Solids
Fluids
Varignon's theorem
Having a statics tutor on your side allows you to focus on the areas that you need the most work in, which is difficult to do in the classroom where everyone has to work at the same pace. For example, if you are not quite understanding some of the most complex equilibrium equations, the tutor can break the equations down into easier to understand steps and allow you to spend as much time as you need on them.
Statics tutoring is a great way to learn from all different angles. In the classroom, it may be all about the textbook or lectures. Your tutor can help you get hands-on experience by allowing you to build different models of molecules to teach you about geometric isomerism, absolute configuration, and conformations. For visual learners, they may show diagrams and charts that break-down the structure of molecules.
Statics tutoring gives you the chance to ask your tutor any questions that you may have as you are doing homework or studying. Perhaps you may be wondering how to identify vectors. Your tutor can answer that question and get you on your way to completing your assignment without wasting any time. Your tutor can provide you with a distraction-free and calm environment that is void of any outside noises. Studies have shown that having an excellent environment to learn in increases student's overall performance.

Recent Statics Tutoring Session Notes
We reviewed oxidative phosphorylation and the entire electron transport chain. We also talked about osmosis. We reviewed probability in pre-calculus and talked about what we would focus on in the future.
Student thinks his exam went well and seems confident that he scored well. Today I helped him to begin preparing for the final exam. We are utilizing the exam review sheet to guide us. Today we reviewed all topics associated with meiosis and mitosis including all vocabulary. We also began reviewing concepts about genetics and pedigrees.
During today's session, the student and I worked on making final preparations for his upcoming biology final. Using a comprehensive review sheet provided by his teacher as a guide, the student and I went through the questions and topics that he thought would give him the most trouble, and discussed them until he was comfortable with the material. During the session, we managed to cover botany, human anatomy and physiology, and some animal biology. Overall, the session was very productive.
We covered the basics of statics today. We worked on calculating moments using cross products and using perpendicular distances. She picked up on the ideas pretty well and understands how the cross product works well enough. The hardest part I think is identifying how the vectors fit together.
Today we covered finding the equivalent force and using sum of forces and sum of momentum. Toward the end of the session, I started calculating off screen and waited for the student to calculate them to check her progress, and she did excellent with the problems. There were still 2 questions left to cover at the end of the session, but using the information from the rest of the session, she should be able to solve those.
Today we mainly covered balancing moments in two and three dimensions. This included a review of vector components, cross products and dot products. We worked through three problems of moderate difficulty.
