Certified Tutor

I am a current undergraduate psychology student at the University of Glasgow, with tutoring expertise in psychology and chemistry. At present, I am very interested in cognitive psychology, developmental psychology and neurodiversity.
As someone from a disadvantaged background, I know the value of a good, rounded education and am a strong advocate for learning and constant expansion of knowledge. Tutoring has been a way for me to incorporate these values into my life, and I have been doing so since 2018 with students from a wide variety of social and academic backgrounds.
In my experience, I have found that the same method does not usually work for every student, so I take an adaptable approach in my sessions and tailor delivery in a way that I feel will most benefit my students. Encouraging student engagement is also central to my teaching style and I will often ask questions to encourage active learning - this also means I am always open to student questions to supplement their learning.
