I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology. I am a friendly, funny and kind individual who loves to teach. I've tutored high school students on study skills, writing personal statements, reading comprehension and verbal reasoning. I have also taught Cultural Anthropology courses for the past 12 years at the college level. I am a people person who enjoys getting to know new people and forming new relationships. I love to tutor and to teach as it allows me to help a student in need develop new skills and strengths through aiding them along with their learning process. It is very satisfying to help a student grasp a previously difficult concept and to see them gain knowledge and confidence in their abilities.
